GREATER CINCINNATI / NORTHERN KENTUCKY, September 25, 2026 – SignalBridge Partners today announced its launch as an AI venture and advisory firm that identifies, structures and executes opportunities created by advances in artificial intelligence.

The company was founded by technology entrepreneur Rich Hempel and transformation executive Taylor Deboodt around one observation: technology is becoming abundant, while the judgment, relationships, coordination and capital required to turn it into durable economic value remain scarce.

“For many leaders, the AI question has already changed. It is no longer simply, ‘How should we use AI?’ The more important question is, ‘What should our company, industry or investment strategy look like because these capabilities now exist?’ That is a different conversation.”

Rich Hempel, Co-Founder & Managing Partner

SignalBridge Partners is deliberately positioned between traditional consulting, technology development and investment models. The firm’s role begins with determining which opportunities deserve to move forward. When an opportunity is validated, SignalBridge Partners helps structure it and assembles the capabilities required to execute it: technology, operators, industry expertise, distribution, strategic relationships and capital.

01Four kinds of work

Opportunity architecture. Identifying and structuring opportunities where AI, proprietary data, industry expertise, distribution, relationships and capital come together.

Venture creation. Developing or participating selectively in businesses and platforms where SignalBridge Partners shares in the long-term value it helps create.

Executive advisory and AI transformation. Helping leadership teams determine where AI can materially change workflows, operating models, decisions, growth, margins and competitive position.

Strategic partnerships. Connecting opportunities with technology, implementation, industry, capital and distribution partners.

02Three areas of opportunity

The first is relationship-governed industries, where trust, proprietary knowledge, established customer relationships, fragmented workflows and underused data create opportunities for AI-enabled transformation and new shared infrastructure.

The second is capital and compute, including the opportunities emerging around AI infrastructure, compute capacity, energy, financing, and the increasingly complex relationship between technology demand and the capital required to support it.

The third is cross-border opportunity development, where technology, infrastructure, capital, economic development and international relationships meet.

03A partner of Unified State Group

Reach that a newly formed firm would not ordinarily have.

SignalBridge Partners launches as a partner of Unified State Group, a global private-development firm that structures national-scale and cross-border development initiatives. The relationship gives SignalBridge Partners reach that a newly formed firm would not ordinarily have, and a direct path into larger international, commercial, capital and infrastructure opportunities.

“SignalBridge Partners is intentionally being built as a networked organization,” Hempel said. “We do not believe the winning model is to put every technical or specialist capability on our payroll. We believe it is to maintain a senior strategic core and to have the judgment and relationships to assemble the best resources around each opportunity.”

04The founders

That model is supported by direct experience in the emerging AI market. During the past three years, Hempel and Deboodt have collectively engaged with numerous founders and more than 20 mid-market organizations and their C-level leadership teams on the front lines of enterprise AI adoption, including strategy, executive advisory, workflow transformation, opportunity identification, application development and implementation.

Hempel brings more than four decades of experience spanning IBM, entrepreneurship, company building, capital formation, venture creation, strategic partnerships and international business. SignalBridge Partners marks his second AI startup, following hands-on experience building an AI company and working directly with C-level teams navigating enterprise AI adoption. His business activities and relationships have extended across North America, Europe and Asia.

Deboodt brings management consulting, business transformation, operating leadership and hands-on AI implementation experience. Her background includes Capgemini and a leadership role at an AI advisory startup, where she worked directly with executives and operating teams during the rapid commercialization of generative and agentic AI. She has also completed executive education in applied AI through MIT.

“The amount of AI capability available to companies is exploding. That makes disciplined decision-making more important, not less. Our responsibility is to help clients and partners determine what is real, what creates value, and what actually deserves to move.”

05The economic model

The firm’s economic model follows the same logic. SignalBridge Partners expects advisory and transformation engagements to provide near-term revenue while it selectively pursues deeper participation in opportunities through recurring economics, strategic partnerships, revenue sharing, intellectual property, joint ventures and equity ownership. The objective is to keep the capital efficiency of a focused advisory firm while building a continuing interest in the ventures and opportunities it helps create.

SignalBridge Partners is opening conversations with CEOs, founders, family offices, private investors, strategic partners, technology organizations and industry principals who are working where AI is changing what is economically possible.

“The largest opportunities will not come simply from adopting more AI tools. They will come from understanding what becomes possible when the economics and capabilities of technology change, and then assembling the people and resources required to act on it.”
